Close By:   Historic Neighborhoods, Parks a Castle, Manor and Firehouse

A quick stroll from the Fairhaven Historic District there is still more history to see and enjoy.

Our Historic Neighborhoods include Happy Valley, South Hill, Edgemoor and South.   These include many beautiful historic homes.
Marine Park, once the location of Dead Man's Point and a lot of early Fairhaven history is just down Harris Avenue and is close to Post Post, and the Heron Rookery.  Boulevard Park a gem of a park is located next to Taylor Dock.  An easy walk south along the path from 10th Street and the Village Green.   Several other parks exist that are "Close Enough" but probably a car ride away.  These include Woodstock Farm, home of Cyrus Gates, one of Fairhaven's important early residents, Fairhaven Park, Larrabee State Park and our newest park, Chuckanut Community Forest.
